Join naturopath Sarah Hunter in the Cosmos Cabin at Purple Pear Permaculture Farm for a hands-on day of herbal discovery, creativity, and connection. We’ll begin with a foraging walk around the peaceful grounds of the cabin, exploring the identification and sustainable use of local weeds and plants. Then, we’ll move indoors to taste herbal teas and botanical sodas, whilst blending a bespoke medicinal tea to support the body systems of your choice, guided by Sarah’s naturopathic insight. We will then turn our focus to herbal manufacturing, creating natural topical remedies to take home for your own home apothecary and first aid kit. You will leave with handmade herbal products, practical knowledge and a deeper appreciation for the healing wisdom of plants. Make a day of it by joining the afternoon session with Wholefood Family (1 to 3pm), also at the Cosmos Studio, to explore an afternoon of fermentation and flavour.
