Event Ticket Terms
and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of tickets and attendance at the The 3 Rivers Hinterland Treasure Trail on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December 2025 (the “Event”), organized by Hinterland Port Stephens Incorporated (the “Organiser”). By purchasing a ticket, the Attendee agrees to be bound by these Terms.

1. Ticket Purchase and Validity

1.1. Contract: A ticket purchase constitutes a revocable license to attend the Event, subject to these Terms. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person from the Event without refund who violates these Terms or acts in a disorderly manner.

1.2. No Resale: Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a price higher than the face value, including through unauthorised ticket agents or platforms. Tickets found to be fraudulently obtained or resold will be void.

1.3. Identity: The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of identity and car registration number upon entry.

2. Event Changes and Cancellation

2.1. Program Changes: The Organiser reserves the right to change the Event's program, schedule, makers, artists, or venues at any time without notice and without refund obligation.

2.2. Cancellation: If the Event is cancelled in its entirety, the Organiser’s liability is limited to refunding the face value of the ticket. Any service fees, transaction fees, or costs incurred by the Attendee (e.g., travel, accommodation) will not be refunded.

2.3. Postponement: If the Event is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. If an Attendee cannot attend the rescheduled date, a refund of the face value may be offered, subject to the Organiser's policy.

2.4. Force Majeure: The Organiser is not responsible for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, government regulations, or pandemics.

3. Refunds and Exchanges

3.1. General Policy: All ticket sales are final. Tickets are sold on a non-refundable, non-exchangeable basis unless otherwise stated in these Terms or required by applicable law.

3.2. Refund Exceptions: Refunds are only provided in the case of a complete Event cancellation (see Section 2.2).

4. Attendee Conduct and Prohibitions

4.1. Compliance: Attendees must comply with all Event rules, directions from staff, and applicable laws while attending the Event.

4.2. Prohibited Items: The Organiser reserves the right to search all persons and property and prohibit items deemed dangerous, illegal, or disruptive (e.g., weapons, illegal substances, external food/drink unless medically required).

4.3. Behaviour: Threatening, abusive, offensive, or illegal behaviour will result in immediate removal from the Event without refund.

4.4. Recording: Unauthorised professional recording (audio, visual, or photographic) of the Event is strictly prohibited. Personal photos and video for non-commercial use are generally permitted unless otherwise stated.

4.5. Driver Requirements: Attendees who choose to drive to, from, or between Event locations must hold a current and valid driver licence recognised in New South Wales.

4.6. Vehicle Safety: All vehicles used in connection with the Event must be currently registered, roadworthy, and meet all legal requirements under NSW law.

4.7. Road Rules: Attendees must comply with all NSW road rules, traffic laws, and any temporary Event traffic management signage, directions, or speed limits.

4.8. Alcohol and Driving: Attendees are responsible for ensuring they remain within the legal blood alcohol limit for driving in NSW. The Organiser accepts no liability for attendees who choose to drink and drive or otherwise breach drink-driving laws.

4.9. Assumption of Responsibility: By participating in the Event and choosing to drive, attendees acknowledge they do so at their own risk and remain solely responsible for their conduct on public and private roads.

5. Liability and Indemnity

5.1. Waiver of Liability: By attending the Event, the Attendee acknowledges the inherent risks associated with attending any large public gathering. The Attendee agrees to the separate Event Liability Waiver and Release document.

5.2. Property: The Organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

6. Governing Law

6.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of NSW, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

Attendance at the The 3 Rivers Hinterland Treasure Trail on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December 2025 on confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
