Celebrate the simple joys of the season and create memories to last a lifetime on this heart-warming weekend of connection, creativity, and countryside charm.
Saturday 6 December: Farm animals and flowers
Your day of memory making begins with a true farm experience and ends in a field of gold.
-
Begin your morning with a rare chance the kids to see where real milk comes from and to meet the animals up close and The Gump Farm.
-
Continue to a creative, hands on weaving, story sharing and connection session inviting you to slow down, play, and reconnect through art and nature. Presented by Spiral Sisters at In Our Hands Family Farm.
-
Finish your creative session in time to head to Gumnut Valley Alpacas and enjoy this magical Picnic with the Alpacas experience where friendly faces, soft fleece, and laughter abound.
-
As the afternoon sun turns golden, head to Hunter Valley Sunflowers to pick your own blooms, enjoy tractor hayrides, visit the petting zoo, and capture the perfect family portrait or Santa photo. Be sure to pick up a bottle of wine from Tranquil Vale Vineyard while you're there!
Sunday 7 December: History, fairytales and festivities
Sunday offers a beautiful blend of heritage, fantasy, and festive preparation.
-
Step back in time at the grand rural estate that is Tocal Homestead and wander through history with a self-guided tour.
-
While at Tocal, delight children and adults alike with a fairytale experience on a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride with Cinderella Arrivals.
-
Embrace the festive spirit hosted by Urban Connection – a beautiful way to craft, share, and celebrate the season as you weave foliage into a beautiful wreath.
-
If you’ve still got any juice left in the tank after this memorable weekend, be sure to call into In Our Hands Family Farm for a fun "unicorn ride" and some refreshing Goats Milk Gelato for afternoon tea.
